Dirty Diva's Ninja Picks

As well as all of those guys writing blogs, you now have little miss attitude to contend with. I'm here to offer a little insight into what my girly side thinks of things going on in the gaming world. For those who don't know, my girly side consists of jeans, T-shirts, and Adidas. I do, however, have a small herd of My Little Ponies adorning my desk and I've started getting manicures. I'm told that's a girly thing to do.

On to what you really care about …

This month, I'm going to celebrate the mystical Ninja—the sleek, dark horse of the gaming world, built like a god with cat-like stealth and the ability to snap necks without breaking a sweat. I have watched some presentations of Ninja Gaiden® II and I believe it's safe to say that we're in for some samurai slashing, body breaking, gut stabbing fun. Just what every girl looks for in a game! (I may have slightly abnormal tastes but my mom still loves me.)

Embracing the Ninja
There's a plethora of games out there if choreographed death moves are up your alley. For some strategic action, try N+. This title has you make calculated leaps that guide your little dude to safety, avoiding bombs and shooty things, all the while trying not to splatter yourself from long falls.

If you'd prefer some grown-up ninja play, how about some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? NO? Come on, you know you want to play the part of an artistic reptile. In all seriousness, this game is a lot of fun. While I may have been trying to increase my Gamerscore when I played it, it was one of the least painful ways of achieving the feat. You could also try out Tenchu® Z, NARUTO™: Rise of a Ninja, or Dead or Alive® 4 for some flailing girl-parts—err, I mean great fighting.

I am now going to leave you as I go watch some Ninjai: The Little Ninja reruns. Little Bird will make you cry like a little girl—not that I just admitted that …
